Client: Final Project for Epicodus

What: Meglish is a web app - built on Ruby on Rails - that allows an admin user to organize lessons into courses. Courses and lessons can be deleted or edited, and more can be added. The application is intended to help English teachers create lessons for their students in a well-structured way. It also takes advantage of Devise and Cancan for authentication and authorization, respectively.

What: I developed a wine tasting phone app using a Ruby on Rails API, and Ionic, in a two-person team under the direction of the owner of the company

Role: Webmaster

What: I make adjustments to the Liquid code for the online Shopify jewlery store according to needs of the owner. I also integrated, and now maintain, the MailChimp API, Facebook Pixel, and Google Analytics in the code.

Role: Personal Project in Ember

What: When I lived in Brazil there was a Facebook group where people would post pictures of what they had seen in Brazil (exotic fruits, animals, bugs, etc.). I thought it would be interesting to build a platform where people could ask and answer "What is it?".

What: Our group of four Epicodus students appraoched a local restaurant in Portland that needed a website. We built their site in Ember so the menu could be updated easily in a Firebase database.

What: With this application, a user can choose from a list of nineties slang phrases to send to a friend's phone. The phrase can also be accompanied by a totally phat nineties themed gif.
